The book is generously illustrated by Lloyd Kelly, a Listed Artist. The illustrator has exhibited widely in galleries and museums in the United States, Europe, Japan, and China.
About the author
Alan Geoffrion is a lifelong resident of Virginia. He did two tours of duty in Vietnam; He studied creative writing at the University of Tennessee. Alan has been involved with horses his entire life allowing him to acquire many stories along the way. He has written short stories and screen plays including Time & Chance and La Linea. In 2006, Geoffrion wrote the screen play for Broken Trail starring Robert Duval. The Miniseries was a hit on AMC Television.
