About the author
Jamie D. Daniel M.D.,F.A.C.S. is a Board-Certified General Surgeon who focused on breast cancer diagnosis and treatment while in practice. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Central Arkansas and graduated with a Medical Degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She completed her surgical residency in Little Rock while receiving awards for best intern and best chief resident, as well as patient care awards. She was awarded America’s Top Surgeons award from the Consumers Research Council of America in 2010.
Always a patient advocate, she organized an annual charity golf tournament to benefit the Susan G. Komen foundation, served as chairperson for the American Cancer Society’s Cattle Baron’s Ball, and helped organize a local breast cancer initiative. She lives in Florida with her son.
