When nightmares keep Reid Morgan awake, her lover, Dey Johnson, convinces her to take a vacation to the California coast. During their trip, Reid finds out the man who shot her mother is in the area and terrorizing the family of one of his boyhood friends. Steff Willmon grew up in southeastern New Mexico and has spent her career working in some of the country's most beautiful national parks. She currently works in fire and aviation management in California. She also rescues Dachsunds and enjoys homesteading and exploring nature with her fur babies.
