She is also the coauthor of Rapid Descent: Deregulation and the Shake¬out in the Airlines, a chronicle of airline deregulation and its aftermath. She is the winner of the Lowell Thomas Award for Investigative Reporting and the Gene DuBois Award for Excellence in Travel and Aviation Reporting. She lives in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York.
