Why did it come to me? Who am I to tell such a story?
I’ve always asked myself these questions… I’m no shaman. I’m no wise man. I don’t have a PhD, nor have I written a dozen books. However, the one thing I’ve always done is to follow my inner voice, the voice of my heart.
Except, almost, for that one August night…
The One (as God is called in the book) speaks to all of us uniquely. That fateful night, He spoke to me and I told Him to leave me alone; I was too tired. I wasn’t prepared to listen.
I told Him ‘I had a life.’
Thank heavens, (excuse the pun), The One is persistent.
I needed a hurricane in my earlobe before I took notice. I have since learned my lesson… and a whisper now is more than sufficient.
I guess He had something to say and He chose me for a reason. I know that one day, I’ll find out. Until then, I will feel blessed and grateful… for His choice of messenger.
