Description

This book is the work of father and son writing team. Justin had the creative idea for the superheroes and main supervillain. He had the ideas for the setting where they start their super lives, relationships and ages. Marc gave them more depth. The idea was first written in a television script format. Marc won a sweepstakes for services from bookbaby.com. The television script was switched to a novel format. It wasn't made into a comic book because we are honest with ourselves about our drawing skills. Lightning Lord is a lazy supervillain whose powers include giving superpowers to others. He made a big mistake when he gave superpowers to Bruce Strong, Dave Braveman, Jason Haver, Jade Kaur Parter, Bella Surprise and Tim Fellows. They are good teenagers. They are teenagers who respect their parents and study hard in school.

About The Author

I grew up in California. Growing up I spent large amounts of time outdoors. I loved it. I have lived in New Jersey for most of my adult life. New Jersey is where I was a full-time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have a passion for teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ (Black Out is a superhero adventure novel not me preaching). I have a passion to be outdoors. I have a passion for learning about animals. I like to understand cultures and religions. I have visited a Mosque and a Gurdwara as a part my hobby of understanding other religions and cultures. I love my son. We have driven my wife crazy talking about Black Out. Working on the story of Black Out with my son is a great pleasure. I used the present tense there because this is becoming a long story. This book is the beginning of the story but not the end. It is becoming an epic struggle between Black Out and Lightning Lord. I have been consumed by this project. Creating the story of Black Out has taken large amounts of my time. I think about it often. I feel the emotions of the characters as I think about settings, plots and plot twists.
