With so many families now in the world being corrupted heinously - as an Author, my desire for God to use me in accordance with His will has become more heartfelt with every day. I prayed fervently for guidance, grace and strength to keep me going until I could finish this book. Aside from praying, I also feel that, in writing, I am closest to God. This book is God centered. It is inscribed and founded by His Words. It will provide reminders of the power of God's WORDS. His WORDS have powers to heal and make us renewed individuals in love, life and spirit. No family is faultless. All of us are broken. Sometimes our status and conditions, whether they be financial, health, success, age and way of life, separate us from our generational family; aside from relation problems, distance, valleys and winding roads. Our family gradually will grow in time as an endless chain connected through past and present, different intergenerational phases: beginning from our original family that we were born into, to the family we are now creating after marriage, evolving and extending to another. Each member of every family has different emotional baggage issues to carry, which can continue building up in time from infancy to adulthood. It is not about who are the rich, the poor, the famous, the naughtiest and the nicest in the family. It is about healing and loving our family where blessings and curses originate and evolve. Let's help heal our families. Let the blessings flow and stop the maledictions and spells that have befallen our families in every generation. May this book help us break those spells. It is about letting the healing love of God become involved in our family life every day. It is about making our family, a family of God.

Marie Tan-Hancock (Marie Tan) is a self-published author of several psycho-spiritual healing books. She is a Master level Counselor (Counseling Psychology), a psycho-spiritual empowerment, inspiration, and motivational teacher and speaker. She graduated from Notre de Namur University in Belmont, CA, USA. In 1982, her illness required her to withdraw from second year proper medical studies. However, she never wavered in her faith in God, that she was committed to serve humanity through her gift of healing. She was involved in the Catholic Charismatic Healing Ministry in the Philippines and abroad. She is always open to keep learning the ways and Words of God. She witnesses the healing power and mercy of Jesus for His people till this very day. The work she is doing now is an offshoot of the seeds she planted when she was young. She began to speak before audiences as a declaimer and orator at the age of five. To date, she has done numerous presentations, and has worked as a professional counselor, consultant, and personal assistant to the mentally and physically ill and disabled population, seniors, children, young adults and their families. She believes she has the ability to lift one's soul from discouragement and depression. She affirms that once we are willing to help other people our talents and gifts will just emerge naturally. In spite of her own physical disability, she has always persevered. She stresses in her teachings that as long as we have life to endure, we also have to keep on sharing our blessings and utilizing our gifts and talents to serve others. Today, she lives with her husband and their two dogs in South Carolina, USA.
