About The Author

Jess Johnson lives in Central Florida and is a retired law enforcement officer. He has spent 35 years serving his community as a police officer and elementary school security manager. He has spent numerous vacations with his family and friends on the water in the Florida Keys. He was inspired to write "Beacon the Magical Dolphin" and "Beacon Helps Santa" by his love of all marine life, the Christmas holiday season and the smiling faces of the students at the Park Maitland School. Jess is a graduate of Rollins College.
