Austen Tarabay is the author and illustrator of this book. She has a B.S. in Psychology and a Master's in Education with a School Counseling focus. She is also a National Certified Counselor working toward her License in Professional Counseling. She is passionate in advocating for children who do not have a voice of their own, or need extra guidance. Austen has always loved expressing her creative side through art and music, so getting a chance to incorporate all of her passions through EmpaThee Lane is so rewarding! She has seen how beneficial bibliotherapy is with children when running small counseling groups on various topics. She believes these books will be a great way to interact with children and instill values of empathy, kindness, sharing, and more!
Ashley Molnar is on a mission to change the future of how we treat each other. She lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with her husband Ted and two children - Harper Lane and Theo Michael - where they spend their free time eating, dancing, and laughing!
