About the author


Linda Huntzinger Calhoun relished a childhood of wandering the high desert hills, sandy washes and golden cliffs of Northern New Mexico, finding arrowheads and ancient pottery shards and admiring the towering clouds in the deep blue sky. And when she was ten, riding on the neck of an elephant named Queenie because she asked if she could, and they said "Yes!" Since then she has lived in Denver, Tucson, Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay Area, and Utah. Her life includes being a stewardess (flight attendant); an Interior Designer; college Adjunct Faculty; creator and leader of Personal and Professional Development Seminars for professional groups, and a spiritual instructor at a large County Jail. She is the mother of eight amazing grown-up kids, and lives in the West surrounded by friends, family and stunning mountains and deserts, all of which make life beautiful and Very Good Indeed.
