About the author
Jennie Wong, Ph.D. is a syndicated business writer for McClatchy-Tribune Information Services. Her weekly blog "Ask the Mompreneur" and monthly print column “Building Your Business” are featured by The Charlotte Observer, the largest daily publication of the Carolinas. Jennie began her career in academia, earning a doctorate in organizational communication from the University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communication and lecturing at the Marshall School of Business. She holds the record as the youngest recipient of the Society for Human Resources Management's Harvey Wilson Dissertation Grant for her research on organizational commitment. Her subsequent corporate experience has spanned consulting roles at Mercer HR and PricewaterhouseCoopers and implementing high performance coaching for a Fortune 10 company.
