Overview
This book is a catalog of the life and artwork of Anthony Ventura and his commentary on both. It includes instruction on art principles and tutorials, as well as color and palette choices for artists.
Description
After more than 55 years of teaching, painting and exhibiting, Anthony Ventura felt a need to leave something from his experiences behind for others to enjoy, whether for family, friends, students or art lovers. If you enjoy art, or would like to know what goes into the making of a painting, this book is a wonderful and entertaining approach. Traditional art can be a watercolor, an oil, or a black and white drawing, with the basic fundamentals being the same for all media. This book includes instruction on art principles and tutorials, as well as materials, color and palette choices for artists. Mr. Ventura wanted this to be not so much a book about how to paint, bookstores are filled with them, but a book about the personal journey of his life as an artist and his commentary on it, in hopes that it will inspire others to want to paint, or at least give them an appreciation of art, opening their eyes to this beautiful world that we live in.
