About the author

Louis started writing soon after he was accepted at Brooklyn Technical High School, while taking the bus every day from Queens. His late teenage years were marked by several relocations between Portsmouth, NH; Marshalltown, Iowa; Central Islip, Long Island; and East Elmhurst, Queens. His interest in printing began at the age of 16 working as a stonehand and press operator. His experience in typography became the foundation for a career in typography and graphic design. In the early 70s, he used those experiences to form an advertising agency and later serve as senior account manager at a larger agency. A decade later, he formed a commercial print brokerage company serving local and Manhattan businesses, which continues to operate today. Recently, he wrote and self-published several paperback journals on forms of media and entertainment under the imprint Quiet Creek Publishing. He and his wife co-wrote two memoirs on the life of their Yorkshire Terrier. "AMERICA!" is his seventh book. He lives with his wife Roseanne, in Bradenton, Florida.
