A small international team of modern explorers plunge into the vast Amazon jungles. They are following a recently discovered five hundred year old Spanish manuscript in search of the fabled cities of El Dorado. There will be snakes, big ones. There will be impenetrable jungles where countless expeditions before disappeared forever. There will be primitive natives, dangerous and unpredictable but the lure and fascination of finding El Dorado is irresistible. Finally there is the most amazing discovery ever in five hundred years of searching. But will there be any survivors? Will the incredible Amazon finally give up its secrets; secrets of Inca spires of blazing gold, a city floating like a dream on drifting seas of mist and and green; this brooding river to unwind and El Dorado there to find.
