About the author

A native to Southern California, more specifically East Los Angeles, spent 12 years in Catholic School and received degrees from California Polytechnic University in Pomona and University of Southern California. After 30 years of a Wall Street life, tried a swing at becoming a teacher. By night, Robert would pick up a pen (okay, it's really a keyboard, but pen has a nicer ring, don't you think?) and write many poems of this fantastical adventure we call love and life. Robert is a product of the 70's who loves all things 80's. A lover of romantic fiction, comedy, true historical events set in suspenseful dramas, Robert finds himself using some of the imagery of these in his poems and writings. When he's not writing, you can find him watching old movies. On any given day Robert can be found sipping coffee and drinking a soda (Zero Sugar of course). After suffering a tragic event in his life, which was the inspiration of his book, Am I So Different, he is now living his own Happily Ever After life traveling around this world with his love and checking off a bucket list which he promised his late wife Liz that he would complete. A goofy sense of humor and a rock star in his own head. While delusional about his singing abilities, there's been a plethora of validation that he's a fairly decent author (AMAZING!!!)., he's decided to just let the voices in his head and the heart in his chest to say whatever they want. He also won a first-place ribbon in 1969 for the drawing contest of the landing of the moon. So, there's that. Robert loves to enjoy life with and without adult libations (although it's more fun with!!), cook stuff, eat stuff, and write poems and books. He thinks Pizza satisfies the entire food pyramid and is the perfect food and thinks he knows what all dogs are thinking. Yes, he's weird that way.
