Overview

The story of Ella and Sara and a friendship that is tested. Because Ella wants to be liked and accepted by her friends, she abandons Sara, her new friend who stutters until, with her mothers help, she begins to understand that we are all different in some way, and it is those differences that make us special. Ella teaches her friends what she has learned, about acceptance, the true meaning of friendship, and the power of kindness and forgiveness.  All proceeds of this book go to Christine's Hope for Kids and get dispersed to kids in need.  Christine's Hope for Kids is a 501(c)(3).

Description
ALWAYS BETTER TOGETHER, A story of Acceptance, Friendship and Love, tells the story of Ella and Sara, two girls who meet when Sara and her family move next door. They spend almost every day together, becoming best friends, and by the end of the summer Ella hardly notices that Sara stutters. That friendship is tested when the school year starts and Ella's friends don't accept Sarah because her stutter makes her different. Ella must make a decision. Does she go along with her friends or stick up for Sara? Through this experience, Ella learns some important lessons. That we all have something about ourselves that makes us different, but also makes us uniquely who we are. That peer pressure and the desire to "fit in" is strong, but true friendship and the power of kindness and forgiveness is even stronger. And that everyone we meet has something special to offer that makes our lives fuller and better. Ella decided to use what she had learned to help her friends see that they have differences too, and only when we accept each other's differences can we know and appreciate their value. And learn the most important lesson of all. That treating others with kindness, respect and love is the true path to happiness.
