Overview

This book contains what I've found to be humorous about the aging process. When I was younger, I was much too serious to find any humor in being young. Now that I belong to an older demographic, I find a lot of things to be funny about becoming old. This is my collection of humorous conversations, thoughts and observations about becoming "old." Some of its contents were created but most are factual. I put this collection of humor into alphabetical senior topics. This book is meant to entertain us older readers or seniors, if you will. I hope reading this book will entertain you, make you laugh and find some humor in our aging process. We're all in this together.

Description

When we were young, many of us were annoying to the older generation. It's ironic to think now that we're older, we have become a little annoying at times to the some of the younger generation. This book is what I've found to be humorous about becoming "old". When I was a young adult, I was much too serious to find any humor in being young. Now that I belong to the older demographic, I've found a lot of things to be funny about becoming old. This is my collection of humorous conversations, thoughts, and observations about aging. Some of its contents were created but most are factual. I put this collection of humor into alphabetical senior related topics and not in order of importance, or level of humor. This book is meant to entertain us older readers or seniors, if you will. We know there are more than enough movies, television programs and books written and marketed for younger adults. I hope reading this book will entertain you, make you laugh and find some humor in our aging process. We're all in this together.

About the author

I usually start my day around 5:00 AM. By this time, with my 2nd cup of coffee, I am either in my office jotting down ideas I find to be humorous, or in my music studio where I go by my full name of Stephen Edward George. I only use my full name for my music albums...there are a lot of others who share my first and last name. In the early morning hours, I find myself to be full of inspiration, ideas, energy and just a little excitement for what I might create. While it's still dark outside, I have the feeling like I'm the only one awake on the planet and it's a perfect time to let the creative juices flow.

When I think of myself as being old, I find it helpful to simply try to view life a little differently. This is similar to how different seats during the same ball game can make a difference in how the fans see the game being played. One spectator will see a safe run, while another spectator will see a clear "he's out!" Myself, I like to think of our planet as having two categories of humans inhabiting it: Those who are old, and those who want to be old. Make someone smile and you will smile more.
