About the author

Andrew F. Scharhag was introduced to flight at a young age by his grandfather who was, among many other things, a navigator for the American B17s over Europe in World War II. Andrew has been fascinated by flight ever since. The designs in this book came about after a multiple award winning science fair experiment which included building a wind tunnel in his garage to test and refine airfoil designs. Many years later, he has written this book to share the amazing designs with you.
