Adventures in New York City

A great, simple children's book to underscore the importance of experiencing society's many cultures.

In the second story in the series titled Bundle of Stories, Li Ling travels to New York City to meet up with Bao Ai. Together, they visit the different sites of the diverse city, navigate cultural differences, and examine the vibrant scenes.

Ava McCollum is a high school student passionate about giving voices to and highlighting the inspiring stories of AAPI members. As a girl of mixed race in a world whose cultural divide is seemingly sharpening, navigating where she belongs has been, at times, challenging. After researching and dedicating time to exploring ways to benefit the Asian community who has suffered at the hands of racism, broken systems, and a lack of justice, she found her voice. She began her organization BOS Coalition to share the accomplishments of Asian Americans from a variety of professional industries.
