About the author
Steve Doyle has been leading as a teacher, administrator, and coach for over twenty-five years. In addition, he is an author, speaker, consultant, and founder of Doyle Educational Coaching. Steve's passion for coaching and building capacity in others began in high school while serving as a volunteer youth basketball coach at the local YMCA. His heart for the underdog goes back to a traumatic brain injury he suffered after graduating high school. The doctors told his parents, Leo and Claudia Doyle, that he would never attend college. Thankfully, his parents (nor Steve) listened to the bleak outlook. He learned to read and write again while attending Walla Walla Community College and then quickly headed off to Whitworth University to pursue his passion: teaching and coaching young people. Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in history/education from Whitworth University and a Master of Social Work from Walla Walla University. Steve is a Nationally Board Certified Teacher in Social Studies-History/Adolescent and Young Adulthood and is currently a graduate student in the Doctor of Leadership program at the City University of Seattle. Steve loves connecting and building relationships with his fellow human beings. He encourages you to communicate with him on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and his website @ www.stephentdoyle.org.
