About the author
Maxine W. Olson was born in 1924 to Ford Bebee and Frances Caroline Willey. Ford Bebee was a well-known screenwriter and director, and Frances Willey Bebee wrote and published poetry. Maxine Olson spent most of her life working with and raising children. During that time, she often shared poems and stories that reflected her love of children and their childhood experiences.
