When Cindy finds an abandoned baby goat at the edge of her pasture in Blairsville, Georgia, she knows she can't just leave her behind. Cindy welcomes Daisy May into her house and the family, where she makes fast friends with the rescue animals on the Rogers Farm.
Daisy May may fit in on the farm, but what happens when the family returns to Santa Monica, California, for the winter? Goats aren't built for the beach. Follow Daisy May on her journey across the country and meet her friends and family in this heartwarming tale.
About the author
After raising her two children with her husband Brian in Los Angeles, Cindy Rogers traded in her life in California for a quieter one on The Rogers Farm. Situated at the foot of the Blueridge Mountains, the farm is a sanctuary for 40 rescued animals and a center for yoga and wellness retreats. When not tending to her animals and vegetable garden in Georgia, Cindy and Maybel are in Santa Monica. They enjoy spending time with their favorite companion, Cindy's first grandbaby, Leo.
