A New Baby at Happy Gates Ranch

Hello there! I'm Kris Benevento, an author, adventurer, and a firm believer in embracing life's journey. As an Air Force spouse, I've had the incredible privilege of calling diverse corners of the world my home, from the rushing waters of Niagara Falls in New York to the tranquil landscapes of New Mexico, Hawaii, England, and Germany. Cape Cod is my birthplace, and Vermont was my cherished home for twenty-four years. North Carolina welcomed us for a year, and now I'm trying Florida on for size! Amidst these adventures, I've had the joy of raising two wonderful boys, sharing 32 years of marriage with my late husband, and embarking on road trips with a feline companion named Moonlight Graham. My journey has been deeply enriched by my roles as a firefighter, EMT, Captain in the Vermont State Guard, healer, instructor, evaluator, and controller, and now, a coach. Armed with a Bachelor's degree in Emergency Services Management and an Associate's degree in Business Administration, I've devoted myself to lifelong learning and personal growth. Being one of nine siblings has taught me the profound power of connection and the significance of family bonds. Writing has been my solace and inspiration, allowing me to give voice to the stories gathered throughout a life well-lived. The Happy Gates Ranch series represents my debut as an author, enabling me to share insights, adventures, and the wisdom that comes from a life filled with both challenging and rewarding experiences.
