Description
A Dragon’s Dream by Glori Mulligan Book Three of the Trilogy of Dragons A Dragon’s Dream completes the Trilogy of the Dragons, A Dragon Tail and The Challenge of the Dragons that carries the general theme of the trilogy of good wins over evil. In all three books there is a hero who demonstrates courage and ethical values. A Dragon’s Dream is about the Patriarch Dragon Arthur who was kidnapped by evil sea monster dragons and hidden inside a giant shell on the bottom of the sea for 200 years. Arthur has been in a dream state sleeping on a satin pillow under the protection of a Nightingale who has been at his side. An evil generation of dragons, the Despostes lived on an island that had come to be from a volcanic eruption in the sea. After a period of time they descended into the sea where they took over control with their power of the ocean and all sea life. They had been a threat to the Land of the Dragons, Cumulus ruled by Arthur where goodness and peace existed forever. They wish to take over Cumulus and establish their power and evil ways and destroy the peace in the Land of the Dragons. To accomplish this they would have to kidnap Arthur. Arthur is awakened one day by being disturbed with a bump that opens the shell and he meets Toran a giant turtle who will become his friend and confident. Arthur becomes acquainted with many sea creatures and soon adapts to the sea life. He is made aware of the dangers of the sea monster dragons and feels that there could be a connection with the evil dragons in his dream. Randanzo the wizard confirms this he meets with The Committee to devise a plan of action to confront the Despotes Dragons. The Dragon Lords and Maxaluna and Bo and Ben are called upon to help in this mission to overthrow the Depostes Dragons. Augy the magic frog assists in the plan and Randanzo once again will accomplish the task of changing bad into good. Arthur returns to the Land of the Dragons flying on the back of the Nightingale led by Centaurs. Arthur will preserve the legend of forever peace and happiness in Cumulus and live with Bo and Ben and all the dragons in this kingdom. Maxaluna and the Dragon Lords and Bo and Ben return to their kingdoms and continue to practice peace and harmony with all generations of dragons. The Despotes Dragons once again will return to the Island of Destiny to continue being good dragons. There is humor and whimsical magic and fantasy woven throughout the story with the seahorses performing dressage and the mermaid a water ballet in the ocean accompanied by the music of the harp and violin.
