Paul Scott Holloway is an avid outdoor enthusiast and member of The Explores Club. He has an unwavering passion for trail conservation and preservation. Though hiking and writing, the hope is others will discover the joys of the great outdoors and help protect these spaces for future generations. As I write this, I am now fifty years old, right in the middle of my life if I live to be one hundred, which I seriously doubt will happen, but with new breakthroughs, who knows...come on stem cells. The point is I wanted to do something special with my family and friends, something that they would remember forever. During the spring of 2014, I blew-out my left knee bowling, so instead of hiking that summer I decided to put my journal into book format, loaded with pictures and maps and other goodies...and so A Change In Direction was created. Life needs to include some adventure. This is mine.
