About The Author


Jodi Traub is a retired mother of five and a grandmother of twelve. She has a B.S. in Geology and worked for the United States Environmental Protection Agency for twenty-eight years, the last twelve years as Director of the Water Division for Region V. Jodi loves nature, mountains, lakes, fishing, photography, and all of God's creatures. She and her husband, Rich, spend several weeks every year in Yellowstone National Park or Jasper National Park observing and photographing animals in their natural habitat. Jodi's observations and photographs became the inspiration for her children's books. During the winter Jodi paints, sews, and makes holiday decor which she sells at craft shows to support local charities. Jodi and her husband live in Yorkville, Illinois.
