Ageless Lust
An Improbable Love Affair

Overview

Ageless Lust  (An Improbable Love Affair) is an authentic lust-morphed-love romance novel about a steep, even inglorious age-gap relationship. In this passionate memoir, a widower in his 70s and a surgeon by trade was ready to retire and leave the United States.

Five months earlier, in December 2009, his life intersected with a drop-dead gorgeous lass. She, the 42-year-old Vronica (an e-less Veronica), was a single mother of two kindergarten-age children. Here, it must be revealed that the surgeon is I.

The sexual attraction between us was meteoric. The revolting age difference (31 years) was not even noticed or discussed.

Fast forward to five months of passionate sexapade of lust and love, the time for the farewell goodbye arrived.

Before heading for the airport, Vronica handed me a sendoff card dated, May 23rd, 2010. The card ended with a few words of enchantress wisdom. “Darling, we both know that this will not be a final goodbye! I am leaving it open-ended and breathlessly wait for your return!”

Fourteen hours later, I was standing on the grounds of the Promised Land, 7500 miles away from my heart which I left behind in Los Angeles. My sexual bonanza morphed into feelings of deep love - doomed, so it seemed, by an unbridgeable separation.

After weeks of phone calls, text messages, emails, and Skype-sex, Vronica came to Tel- Aviv for my 74th birthday. The twelve days of an insane honeymoon ended with her returning to her motherly duties.

Finding myself in a deep slump, I did not want to live without her. After lengthy deliberations, Vronica agreed with my plan to join her for a trial period. Later that summer, I re-crossed a sea, an ocean, and two continents to reunite with her in the City of Angels. My brief visit became permanent, and the rest is timeless history.

On December 20th, 2019, we celebrated a decade of love, lust, and togetherness. Neither time nor space nor 31-years of age difference succeeded in separating us. Her prophetic premonition, expressed in her farewell card, proved her right.

P.S. Scribbled sentences on paper or screen were never my cup of tea. I believe Vronica and I have a unique story of devotion and lust that attests to the fact that genuine love has no age limit. Therefore, it should not be surprising that I could not resist sharing this truly romantic and incredibly unbelievable tale with the world. Hence, the concept of this book was born.

Description

Ageless Lust (An Improbable Love Affair) is a lust-morphed-love romance novel which deals with a steep, unbefitting relationship that should have never come into existence due to an insurmountable age difference. But it did!

In December 2009 I was a 73-year-old septuagenarian widower and a surgeon with etched in stone plans to retire and leave United States.

Ad interim, eager to blow some steam in my frosty loins, I enlisted the “sexplicit” services of noted Ashley Madison. In less than two weeks of searching, by sheer draw of luck, my life intersected with a drop-dead gorgeous, carnality-oozing lass. She, the 42-year-old Vronica (an e-less Veronica), was a single mother of two kindergarten-age children, who was also looking for a no-strings-attached relationship.

The sexual attraction between us was instantaneous and meteoric. After two consecutive under-the-sheets encounters, the sexy Vronica decided that I was a perfect lusting match for her. The revolting age disparity was not even perceived or discussed. After five months of passionate love and lust, the time for the bitter goodbye arrived.

As I was seated in a taxicab ready to go to the airport, with tearful eyes, Vronica handed me a sendoff card dated, May 23rd, 2010. It read- “Darling, we both know that this will not be a final goodbye! I am leaving it open-ended and breathlessly wait for your return!”

Fourteen hours later, I was standing on the sacred grounds of the Promised Land, 7500 miles away from my heart which I left behind in Los Angeles. My brief journey of sexual bonanza ended in a manner for which I was not ready! Not for a man of my age, and not with a woman of her age. Consented to be an affair of sheer lust, it morphed into feelings of deep love doomed to fail by an unbridgeable separation.

As expected, weeks of phone calls, text messages, emails, and Skype-sex followed. Yearning and lusting for each other, Vronica accepted my invitation, and arrived to Tel-Aviv to be with me on my 74th birthday. A twelve-day honeymoon of biblical proportions ended with her returning to her motherly duties.

Heartbroken and alone, my world fell apart and, the foundation of my existence began to crumble within my bowels. No sleep, no food, for days on end. Being in a deep slump, I admitted to myself that I would not want to live without her.

After lengthy reflections and endless back-and-forth deliberations with Vronica, she agreed with my plan for me to return for a trial period. With her blessing, at summer’s end, exactly three months after leaving her behind, I re-crossed a sea, an ocean, and two continents to reunite with her in the City of Angels.

As expected, the intended brief visit became permanent, and the rest is timeless history. We never tied the knot, and we did not sleep under the same roof. At least not nightly!

On December 20th, 2019, we celebrated a decennium of a loving and lusting togetherness. Transcending all logic, neither time nor space nor 31-years of inglorious age discrepancy separated us.  We proved that genuine love is ageless, and the Latin idiom Amor Omnia Vincit attests to this fact.

About the author

The Author

I was born in Eastern Europe. For the past 40 years I lived in Los Angeles. I am practicing physician and a widower for 12 years. Scribbling sentences on paper or on a screen were not my cup of tea in none of the six languages I orate! This time, however, it seemed very different.

Making use of a “sexplicit” website at a young age of 73, my life unexpectedly intersected with an amazing, drop-dead-gorgeous and carnality-oozing woman. A single mother of two kindergarten-age children, Vronica (an e-less Veronica), was a 31-springs younger lass. On our blind date, the calendar chronicled December 20, 2009!

I am a published author in the American surgical literature, yet to write a coherent and readable short novel for the public. In order to achieve this goal, I had to invent a new mindset and will. My mother tongue and schooling were not in English; moreover, I had to overcome the many constraints that authors face to assure a high quality narrative.

Hence, I went to hell and back. As Stephen King indicates, “The road to hell is paved with adverbs.” To this day I have no idea why, but if Stephen King said it, it is Bible! Oh, and spelling, what can I say about spelling? The baroque writer Baltasar Gracian had a funny quote on the subject, “A synonym is a word you use when you can’t spell the original one.” Luckily, the synonyms gilded WordHippo.com software made this rule trouble free. As a first time belletristic penman, I searched for big words to impress until I learned, “Don’t use big words. They mean to little.” How could I ignore this axiom; it belonged to non-other than Oscar Wilde, another penman of Biblical proportion.

There were many other hurdles, such as episodes of lack of confidence, and writer’s block. The entire process turned out to be challenging and time-consuming, but I have no regrets. With all the burdens I had to overcome, in retrospect, it has been a journey of love and excitement. I edited, reedited, and edited again; an endless process I did it… endlessly. After almost three years of gestation, the book, like a newborn baby arrived in this world. And yes, my one-time author calling is over! (I wanted to write “finally is over,” but “finally” is an adverb, so I dropped it.)

When I wrote these sentences, Vronica and I had already celebrated a decennium together. Neither time nor space nor 31-years of scandalous age difference succeeded in separating us. We never joined in holy matrimony, and we do not live under the same roof, at least not every night. Yes, this specific arrangement could be at least one of the possible explanations of our lastingness.

This narrative describes our unique lust-morphed-romantic relationship that, by some rigid criteria, could be tagged inglorious. Yet it proves, however, that genuine love has no age limit.
