About the author

The author owned and restored 82 Commercial Street in Provincetown, MA. After owning and restoring the house next door he took on the challenge of renovating 82 Commercial Street to its historic look and feel to reveal and celebrate its roots as a quintessential Federal period early cape structure. Intrigued by a series of historic photos in the home he wanted to restore the home's soul as well as its bones thought this book. His background in publishing, genealogy, mapping and historic research were put to use producing this unique documentation of one home's history and present.
