About The Author

Lewis S. Blevins, Jr. lives in Northern California with his partner Ruby and their beloved goldendoodle Oliver. He is a physician who has authored or edited a dozen medical books and a travelogue relating his journeys in Ireland called Tea in Connemara. He plays the Northumbrian small pipes, the Scottish small pipes, and paints landscapes, portraits, and still life paintings in oil on canvas. He sails on the San Francisco Bay and on the coastal waters of Northern California. He holds a Mariner's Certificate (Captains license) from the US Coast Guard.
