by Knajula Edwards

Overview

About the author

Knajula Edwards is a seasoned actress, writer, and producer hailing from Carthage, Texas. As a young adult, she made her way to Dallas, Texas where she discovered her special knack for acting and her purpose to present a novel perspective to the world. Shortly after, she moved to Los Angeles to not only pursue acting, but to complete her college degree. Within six months of taking the leap, Knajula earned her SAG-Aftra membership and also enrolled in California State University, Dominguez Hills, where she went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. Experiencing various highs and lows, Knajula was ultimately forced to take an extended sabbatical from acting upon the loss of her mother. She then switched gears and ventured into the finance industry, where she enjoyed tremendous success and earned several accolades, building a solid reputation as an accomplished financial broker. Though, as much as she excelled in finance, destiny had other plans. She re-emerged on the acting scene a few short years later and to date has credits on several hit shows as well as acted in a number of independent projects. Besides entertainment and finance, Knajula also has a strong background in business which she incorporates into her faith-based clothing line, CMCG Apparel (Child of Maggie Child of God), which is a tribute to her late mother, Maggie. Knajula currently resides in Los Angeles, where she is actively working as an actress, in addition to writing and developing new projects while still finding time to volunteer for various non-profits and organizations for the homeless.
