About The Author

JJ Vogel is an honor student at Mater Dei high school and an elite soccer player. She was selected to star in the Elite 30 training system for beginners to advanced soccer players and coaches. Throughout her club soccer career, she was consistently called upon to take game winning free kicks and high-pressure penalty shots. She has developed the reputation as a select “clutch” player scoring the winning goals in several close showcase and championship matches. She attributes the technique of applying these quotes to develop her mental toughness. Early in her sophomore year in high school she committed to the University of California Irvine on scholarship to play soccer under head coach Scott Juniper. She currently plays for the Slammers FC in Newport Beach, and serves as Player Development Coordinator for AYSO Costa Mesa and Newport Beach California as a volunteer. She is a high achiever whose ambition in life is to give back to others. It is through her philanthropic work with others that she credit as her most rewarding success. She is a witness that you can accomplish your dreams through goals, belief, persistence and hard work.
