Susan was born and raised in a small New England city along the south coast of Massachusetts where she still resides today. Susan considers her faith and family to be the guiding force that drives her. Susan's love of nature and fascination with animals and reptiles at a young age led her to a fifteen-year career in science education. Her unique personality brings a level of authenticity to her storytelling that is both rare and captivating.
