Born and raised in Richmond, VA, Charlene A. Howell has been a voracious reader and avid writer since the age of 8. She thoroughly enjoyed getting lost within a new and interesting plot, at any given chance. Therefore, trying her hand at writing pursuits was only natural.
In 2005, Ms. Howell had her first novel, "Unspoken Emotions," published. The revamped edition is slated for a July 2018 release and its follow-up title, "Trials and Truths," will be in production soon after.
For a season, and due to many life-changing experiences, Ms. Howell's creative writing pen was neatly tucked away. During this time, she pursued her Undergraduate and Graduate degrees in Social Work from Morgan State University. Although the hiatus proved to be challenging at times, Charlene never lost her passion for writing.
In 2016, while serving as a Disaster Case Manager for BCFS, Charlene found herself inspired, once again, to indulge in her (other) first love: writing. The myriad of experiences merely sharpened her creative eye and voice, providing her with even more colorful material to add to her literary mosaic.
Currently residing in Houston, TX, when Ms. Howell isn't working on a new writing project, she likes to spend her free time getting lost in a new (to her) Kindle e-book, traveling and networking with kindred spirits for creative inspiration.
With her insatiable love for the gift and art of writing, you can expect to hear and read many great things from Charlene A. Howell.
