Attended Cal Berkeley for B.S. graduating with Highest Honors and Phi Beta Kappa in 1975. M.S. in Human Nutrition at Cal Berkeley 1977. Attended medical school at The University of DesMoines, College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery. Residency in Emergency Medicine in the U.S. Army completed in 1983. Board Certified ABEM since 1984. Chief of Emergency Medicine at Brackenridge Hospital, Austin, Children's Hospital of Austin, and Dell Children's Medical Center, Austin, for almost 30 years. Now retired and live in the Texas hill country with my wife.
