Lamb of God is my debut novel and was inspired by a news story about a man claiming to be Jesus Christ. Even though billions of people fervently believe the Second Coming will happen, no one believed him. His name was simply added to the long list of people who have struggled with that (presumed) delusion. Dozens of them are still alive today. My first thought was that no one will ever believe anybody making that claim unless the Pope held a news conference to say he had video proof that they’d cloned Christ, and here He is. My second thought was that there must be a book in there. Maybe even one of those epic tales of good vs evil using the Vatican as a backdrop.
After having that eureka idea moment for Lamb of God, I studied creative writing with author/professor Rick Taylor (Carleton U, Ottawa), and author/writing instructor Wendy Goldman Rohm (the Microsoft File). That helped a lot. I’m a Canadian and was a career investment advisor until retiring in 2021 to pursue my passion project, ThinkPerfectWorld. It will be a social business advocating for peace, kindness, tolerance, and respect for the planet. These days I work my own schedule and love the river view I have from my writing corner. I have five adult children and a growing list of grandchildren who will always delight me.
