Tracy grew up in Ocean City, NJ where she attended Ocean City High School. She spent many days sailing around the city from her home on the bay.
Tracy received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware.
After college she worked for a marketing agency and later opened her own business called Allwrite, Inc. She developed marketing programs for the duPont Company and Gore.
Because dance was so much of her life, she built an anti-bullying program for schools which incorporated dance in the curriculum. Tracy wrote wedding vows for couples and speeches for choreographers.
In addition, she worked with choreographers in their creation of dance performances.
Tracy also wrote for television programs and was a script writer for popular sitcoms.
After a short illness in 2020, she died leaving behind many wonderful poems, short stories and other writings. At the time of her death, she was writing two books, one for teens and the other for adults dealing with being the person in the family or in a relationship who was considered the one left out or the "black sheep." (although these books were not completed, it is expected that they will be published in the future as a continuing memory to this remarkable woman and writer.)
