Steve Kallman is a computer systems engineer from Cleveland, Ohio. He managed large-scale server networks and storage systems for the county government before retiring in 2019. Steve majored in music in college, and was a member of the Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra. In his younger days, he also conducted various small ensembles and choirs. A passionate lover of all things ancient Egyptian and the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright, Steve used his skill as an avid nature photographer to record the monuments of Egypt on two trips in 1988 and 1990, which became the source of inspiration for this book.
