Author Info

Sovereign Jane Jenkins was born in Jackson, Mississippi—a place where you come to know of Emmett Till and Jesus Christ before reaching the age of five. She was the youngest of three children, raised by her mother and stepfather. However, after discovering that she wasn’t his biological daughter, her stepfather abandoned both her and her brother, despite having raised them during their formative years. He soon after remarried, leaving behind the memories of the children that weren’t his own. Despite her tumultuous childhood, Jane’s school age years were spent on the drill team in middle school ,and she later joined the JROTC in high school. Excelling academically, she graduated with a 4.4 GPA, then pursued her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Southern Mississippi, earning her a degree and a distinguished scholar of Magna Cum Laude with a minor in Spanish in 2018. Outside of writing, Jane enjoys running, hiking, socializing with friends, vacationing in Europe, reading new books, and acquiring new languages. Both her biological parents reside in Mississippi, and she cherishes spending holidays surrounded by family and friends. She frequently reads works by her favorite authors like Napoleon Hill, Paulo Coelho, and Theodora Taylor. As she continues to write, she remains in the state of Georgia; she has a keen interest in aiding others with the lessons that she has learned along her journey.
