Scott is an author, blogger, coach, and teacher. He and his wife, Gigi, operate a charity in Ethiopia that focuses on helping children and families. Scott moved to Ethiopia in 2006 to serve as a teacher for Project Mercy in the Gurage Mountains of southern Ethiopia. The Hyena Man springs out of that blessed time in an amazing organization, in a beautiful place. Scott served from 2006-2018 in Ethiopia, and now teaches in Vietnam.
