Robin West retired from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in 2014 after working for 35 years as a biologist, manager, and wildlife administrator. Thirty of the years were spent in Alaska. At retirement Robin was the Regional Chief of the National Wildlife Refuge System administering over 70 refuges in the Pacific Region. His interests remain focused on wildlife conservation and environmental awareness and Robin, and his wife Shannon, continue to travel extensively in search of unique wildlife and wild places.
