Phil Hobby is the Founder and Broker/Owner of Veterans First Realty; a nationally expanding real estate brokerage built on a single principle: military families deserve representation from professionals who understand their life because they've lived it.

A licensed broker in multiple states and founder of a national referral network of veteran and military-family agents, Phil has dedicated his career to elevating the standard of guidance provided to active-duty service members, veterans, and their families, not as a niche marketing concept, but as a disciplined, values-driven professional commitment to strategic representation, negotiation expertise, and long-term wealth building through real estate.

Phil is consistently recognized among top-producing agents and brokerage leaders. He has been featured in numerous magazines and has been quoted in various national media on topics ranging from military relocation strategy to veteran homeownership. He is a board member of The Masters Club, the recipient of more than 350 perfect five-star client satisfaction surveys, and is a multiple-time national customer service award recipient.

His professional credentials reflect a commitment to mastery across every dimension of the representation he provides. Phil is a Certified Master Professional Negotiator and a Trained Crisis Negotiator, designations that inform not only how he negotiates on behalf of clients but how he thinks about the high-stakes decisions that real estate transactions require. He holds National Association of Realtors designations as an Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR), Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE), Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), Military Relocation Professional (MRP), and Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA).

Phil studied Marketing at the University of Maryland and completed Executive Education programs at Harvard Business School in Strategic Marketing Management and Behavioral Economics.

More than credentials or recognition, Phil believes real estate is stewardship. The families who come to Veterans First Realty have served this country and earned benefits that, when properly understood and strategically deployed, can provide financial stability during service and lasting strength long after it ends. His mission, through this book, through his brokerage, and through the nationwide network of agents he recruits, trains, and mentors, is to ensure that those families receive the guidance necessary to make the most of what their service made possible.
