Veronica Morris makes her debut as an author and illustrator in her first published work entitled Peek-A-Boo Zoo.
Originally from Chicago, Illinois, she currently resides in Michigan with her husband and fur babies. She has a close relationship with her two adult sons, who live nearby and have encouraged this new chapter in her life.
As a graduate of the Art Institute of Chicago, her education is rich with hands on experiences driven by an interest in textures, dimensions, relationships and form. Her work is an out of the box, barrier breaking experience that must do more than just please the viewer/reader. She takes her creative process in Peek-A-Boo Zoo to a new experience in children's literature and child's play. Peek-a-Boo Zoo is an pre-/early reader, that prompts interaction between parent and child, in a learning experience we are all familiar with, the game of Peek-A-Boo. Brightly colored illustrations attract the eye and teaches the readers about animals and their habitat in the zoo, while actively engaging in the game of peek-a-boo.
