Paul Johnson is a tour guide and author working in Sedona, Arizona. Sedona is a small artsy town that gets upwards of five million visitors each year, all aspiring to balance their chakras, get lost in beautiful red rock canyons, and levitate over sacred vortexes. He has toured thousands of visitors to natural and cultural sites in Sedona, Grand Canyon, and various Native Nations. Paul shares stories, geologies, and histories to educate his guests about the Southwest's multicultural past and present, which often find their way into his books
.
Before falling in love with the desert, he was an urban planner working on community and economic development programs in central city neighborhoods. When not telling or writing stories, Paul travels extensively. He and his wife, Betty, have visited over twenty-five countries, studying their histories and cultures.
He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Millikin University and a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois. He and Betty live in Sedona with Kasey, their aging rescue dog. Paul is currently working on Skip and Kuul’s next adventure.
