Mary Lemanski is a musician, actor, writer, business owner, political activ
ist, and former politician. Mary grew up in Springfield, IL, to a family with
politicians on both sides of the aisle. She tried to escape politics by moving
to California and Arizona but moved back to the Chicagoland area to raise
her two children near family and felt motivated to get involved with politics
when Trump took office. Mary’s social media campaigns were pivotal in
turning the solidly Republican DuPage County, the second largest county
in Illinois, to purple within two years.
