Loraine Haynie has found a new life and career writing and publishing books.  She has written all her life for pleasure and business, and had careers in public relations, marketing, human resources, as a newspaper columnist and running her own business.

She is a Southern girl from Georgia, and attended Georgia State College and graduated from Brenau College with a degree in Journalism.  She began writing Southern novels after retiring.  Her books include descriptions of Atlanta, Gainesville and Hoschton.  She has published a memoir and a novel.  Her third book is a biography. Her goal is to honor God with her writing and show redemption for each protagonist.  Her first book focuses on the human frailty of shame.  The second book forces on covetousness.  Confronting the Pitchford Curse focuses on greed.

She and her husband live in Hoschton, Georgia, in an active adult community.  They are members of a supportive church and enjoy spending time with their three children and seven grandchildren.
