Author Info

Linda Clifford has been writing since her mother rented a typewriter when she was 8 years old.  Like her most-admired author, Margaret Atwood, she started with puppet shows. With a degree in journalism from the University of Missouri, she parlayed her writing skills into technical writing at the dawn of the consumer computer age.  During those years she was active in women's groups advocating the long-delayed Equal Rights Amendment and the budding ProChoice movement.  As the internet opened the portal of information to the world, she became more interested in the status of third world women.  Today she continues to write short stories about the things that affect women. She is also working on a sequel to "Broken Tether".
