Lawrence (Larry) Tannas, Jr., saw his dream of publishing his children’s book come to life before his passing in early 2021. A retired aerospace engineer in the field of electronic information displays, he also taught engineering classes at UCLA extension. He started his own company Tannas Electronic Displays, Inc. in 1999 where Rusty was engaged at international trade shows as depicted in the story. Larry sold this company in 2018 and retired in Orange, California. He is survived by his 3 children and 10 grandchildren.
