Kathleen Sheerin Polaske

Kathleen Sheerin Polaske graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development & Family Relations and  later earned a Master’s Degree ( 6th Year) in School Counseling from Central Connecticut State University. She worked as a High School Counselor in Middletown, Connecticut.  She is married to her high school sweetheart, Ron Polaske, and has 2 boys, Thomas and Spencer. Kathleen resides in Dennis, Massachusetts and Naples, Fl. She grew up on the Cape Cod beaches and made this area her home in 2020.


Eileen Sheerin Levoy

Eileen Sheerin Levoy graduated from Assumption College and received a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education.  She continued her academic studies at University of Massachusetts where she received a Master’s Degree in Education and certification to teach Special Education.  She continued her studies at Lesley University where she researched the Japanese Models of Education for students diagnosed with Autism.  Eileen has been teaching in Sudbury, Massachusetts for over 20 years.  She has previously written The Blanket Fort for her grandson.
