Katherine Girsch, who holds an MA in Spanish Literature, lives and writes in a renovated nineteenth century cottage in the center of Salem, Oregon. She published Coming to Terms: A Novel under the name K.D. Girsch in 2018. Her second book, TransAtlantic Ties, a collection of short stories that connect characters living on either side of the Atlantic between 1945 and 2018, was published in 2021. My Own Heart's Song, a Gen X coming of age journey was published in 2024. Her latest book, An Intact Family, the fourth in a series of relationship-driven narratives, reintroduces characters from her first three works.
