KAREN BUTNER is a global strategist, researcher, and thought leader whose work has shaped some of the world’s most complex high tech and industry landscapes. With more than seventy-five published studies, spanning emerging technology, organizational transformation, and industry evolution she has spent decades at the intersection of analytical precision and real-world consequence.
She is also, it turns out, a storyteller.
The Onward Series is the natural convergence of those two lives—the researcher who spent years mapping how systems shape reality, and the writer who always believed that the truest things were best carried inside a story worth telling.
The series follows Karynn Bennett and Lauren Hale—two women whose complementary instincts, unshakeable partnership, and refusal to look away from institutional hypocrisy draw them into investigations that span continents, centuries, and the architecture of power itself.
Their world is one where unlikely decisions spark irreversible consequences, where the pursuit of truth draws unlikely individuals into extraordinary intersections, and where the most dangerous conspiracies are not hidden in shadows—they are hidden in plain sight, dressed as protocol, wrapped in the language of progress.
Beneath every page of the Onward Series lives the belief that drove her life’s work: that Truth, Trust, and Tenderness will, always, awaken us.
The Onward Series is designed to be entered at any point — each book complete in itself, each one enriched by the others. Begin anywhere. Continue everywhere.
